CVFolk – September Event

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN BRONZE ARTS AWARD THIS SUMMER

The Albany Theatre in Coventry is thrilled to invite young people aged between 11 and 25 to complete their Bronze Arts Award this August. Participants will learn invaluable skills from industry professionals, take part in performance workshops and gain a recognised level 1 Arts qualification.

The Albany Theatre Reopening Celebration!

The Albany Theatre specially invites you to join us this Friday as we celebrate our reopening in style! Local Pianist Tim Spencer brings a relaxed atmosphere with live piano show tunes throughout the evening, while the bar will be open to enjoy drinks.

Whilst many public performances have been postponed due to the pandemic, we want to keep our venue flourishing and endeavour to become a new home to many of Coventry’s community and social groups.

The Albany Celebrates Culture Recovery Fund Grant

The team at The Albany Theatre in Coventry is elated to have received the news today (12/10/2020) that they have secured a £250k grant from the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund. Without the funding, The Albany would have been forced to close at the end of the week, but thanks to the hard work and dedication of all at the theatre, they can now look forward with confidence.
