Looking for fun, inclusive and creative drama classes in Coventry? Albany Youth Theatre gives young people aged 8–15 the chance to build confidence, make friends and develop performance skills in a supportive theatre environment.
Based at The Albany Theatre, our weekly youth theatre sessions help children and teenagers explore acting, storytelling, movement and performance while working with experienced theatre practitioners.

Youth Theatre Classes in Coventry
Albany Youth Theatre offers engaging weekly drama classes in Coventry designed to encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression.

Albany Juniors (Ages 8–12)
Albany Juniors is designed for younger performers who want to explore drama, creativity and theatre-making in a fun and energetic environment.
Sessions include:
- Drama games

- Confidence-building exercises
These classes help children develop imagination, communication skills and stage confidence while having fun each week.
Albany Juniors take place on Wednesday evenings during term time between 17:00 and 18:15. £70 per term.
Albany Seniors (Ages 12–15)
Albany Seniors gives teenagers the opportunity to develop more advanced acting and performance skills while collaborating on creative projects and productions.
Young performers will explore:
- Acting techniques
- Improvisation
- Script development
- Devised theatre
- Voice and movement
- Performance preparation
Sessions are designed to help teenagers build confidence, creativity and communication skills both on and off the stage.
Albany Seniors take place on Wednesday evenings during term time between 18:30 and 20:00. £70 per term.

Who Can Join?
Albany Youth Theatre is open to children and teenagers aged 8–15 from Coventry and the surrounding areas.
No previous acting or theatre experience is required — just enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to take part.
