Coventry Music is the leading provider of music education for children and young people in Coventry, and a consortium leader within Heart of England Music, the Music Hub for Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull.
We work in partnership with schools to support music education, raise attainment, and improve access to high-quality music learning opportunities across the region. Our mission is to deliver an inclusive, diverse, and progressive music curriculum, alongside structured opportunities for training, development, and performance.
We offer high-quality teaching and learning across a wide range of musical genres and styles, working with experienced professional musicians and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. This ensures that young people can explore different types of music while developing confidence, creativity, and technical skill.
As part of our wider programme of activity, Coventry Music also provides high-profile performance opportunities for young musicians, showcasing talent, progression, and achievement across Coventry and the wider region.
After-School Music Groups at The Albany Theatre Coventry
We are excited to bring a selection of our after-school music groups to The Albany Theatre Coventry, taking place on Tuesday evenings.
These sessions provide young people with the opportunity to:
- Take part in structured music rehearsals
- Develop ensemble and performance skills
- Work with professional music educators
- Prepare for live performances in a professional venue
Timetable:
Prices are per term payable up-front. Trial sessions can be arranged with a view to paying for a full-term once the young person has signed-up for regular sessions.

How Do You Sign-Up?
Visit the online registration form for Coventry Music if you want your child to get involved.
Charges for groups are £40 per term or free to GoCV card holders. If you have a GoCV card, add your number to the sign-up form.
If your child wishes to join more than one group, they will pay the cost of the highest value group only. Eg; for junior choir and the youth choir, you would pay £40 per term for both.
