RAVING

Thursday Night Project, Esher, Surrey – “Raving” by Simon Paisley Day.

Briony and Keith, not finding parenthood easy, arrive at a holiday cottage at the invitation of their friends the successful Ross and Rosy, instead of the expected guests, the eccentric Charles and Serena who arrive too, along with a fanatical farmer and dangerous sexy uninvited guest. The idyllic weekend away starts to disintegrate…

VITA AND VIRGINIA

New Kinver Players, Staffs “Vita and Virginia” by Eileen Atkins (abridged version)
This play relies solely on real correspondence between author Virginia Woolf and aristocratic poet Vita Sackville-West and charts their relationship over a 20-year period.  The author states that it should be played as one long conversation, except where indicated that the characters speak to the audience.

LUNCH

Lincoln & Smith Productions, Leics – “Lunch” by Stephen Berkoff

‘Lunch’ explores the interaction between a man and a woman on a bench – but there are many layers to this sometimes shocking piece. Set in a derelict seaside town amidst the unemployment and socio-economic background of the 1980s, our characters feel trapped by the world around them and long for freedom and variation. Berkoff was inspired by his own experience of working for one day selling space within a magazine.

Keeping our audiences safe

We have put safety measures in place which follow current government guidance that we ask all visitors to the theatre to adhere to. All ticket holders will be contacted with full details before each performance. Please click here for more information.
