About the Show
★★★★★ “Gloriously charming and heartwarming.” – StageTalk
Written by our artistic director Alan Pollock and performed by a professional cast, this is a magical festive treat you won’t want to miss…
In Dickensian London this Christmas, not all is as it seems. The fog descends, the lights flicker, and strange things start happening to Ebenezer Scrooge. Join us at The Albany Theatre for this atmospheric re-telling of Charles Dickens’ enduring tale of redemption.
Watch in awe as objects come to life on the stage, be entranced by singing and movement and let your heart be warmed by the transformation that unfolds in front of you – the magic of Christmas and the magic of theatre combining for an unforgettable experience.
From the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, to the plucky Cratchits, this is an adaptation that draws you in, that pulls you forward in your seat and holds you mesmerised from the very first “Bah Humbug”.
