We’re very happy to announce our Christmas show for 2026… A Christmas Carol! This family favourite is returning to the Albany with a brand new script, written by our very own Artistic Director and acclaimed playwright, Alan Pollock.
This adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic is brimming with festive joy and the power of kindness. Be transported back to Victorian London and meet Ebenezer Scrooge, as he is transformed by the magic of Christmas and the power of three mysterious ghosts. From the plucky Cratchits, the magical ghosts, and the ever grumpy Scrooge, be prepared to be enchanted from the very first ‘Bah Humbug!’
Produced completely in-house by our talented creative team, this production also features innovative new seating in our main house that will leave you feeling closer than ever to the action as we expand our stalls onto the stage itself!
First performed at The Barn theatre, this version of the tale already has plenty of 5-star reviews, so you can be rest assured that it’s going to be a fabulous trip out to the theatre for the whole family.
