The Ensemble Dance Auditions will take place on Sunday 13th September 2026 at The Albany Theatre.

Age: 16+
This is an open audition, so there is no need to register in advance. Anyone aged 16 or over who is interested in auditioning can simply turn up at the theatre for the audition.
What to Expect on the Day:
Dancers will be taught a dance routine during the audition, so there is nothing you need to prepare in advance.
The audition will take place in sections, depending on the number of auditionees. We will endeavour to ensure that everyone is given an appropriate break during the day.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking to cast an Ensemble Dance Team of approximately 6–10 dancers. There will be no reserve team. Successful dancers will be required to attend all rehearsals and every performance throughout the production.
The audition panel will be looking for dancers who demonstrate:
- Strong dance technique and ability
- Confidence and enthusiasm in performance
- A willingness to learn and take direction
- A positive and committed attitude
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
What Happens After the Audition?
Following the auditions, the panel will carefully consider all auditionees and make the final selection.
We aim to send an email to all auditionees following the audition to confirm whether they have been successful in gaining a place in the Ensemble Dance Team.
