Exploring Traditional Tunes  – CVFolk Workshop with Steve Redshaw

This is an introduction for beginners and improving musicians, or indeed anyone wanting to know more about performing traditional folk tunes of the British Isles. It is not a requirement to be able to read music but feel free to bring along an acoustic instrument to try out some of the tunes. Players of stringed, squeezebox and reed instruments – all are welcome. Alternatively, if you would simply like to come along to listen and enjoy the sounds of our musical heritage, you are equally welcome!

Singer and multi-instrumentalist, Steve Redshaw is active, well-known and popular on the local folk club circuit, with a wealth of knowledge and experience as a performer of a wide range of musical styles.
