Walk The Road – A Celebration of American Folk Music
Saturday 9th May 2026

Original songs and stories about the characters and their lives created and presented by the acclaimed Mark Harrison Band

The soul of American folk blues, told in a very British voice…

Have you heard of Long Gone Miles?

Did you know the Reverend Gary Davis gave Bob Dylan guitar lessons?

What phrase did Howlin’ Wolf use to describe himself?

Walk The Road brings to life the personalities, world and adventures of the great folk blues artists who invented so much of the music we hear and like today, taking you on a journey from the juke joints of the Mississippi Delta of the 1920s to the Newport Folk Festivals of the 1960s (as portrayed in the film about Bob Dylan A Complete Unknown).

An uplifting evening of modern songs that sound like classics, showing how the music and spirit of the great troubadours live on, telling informative and amusing tales of the people and their lives and drawing parallels with the world today.
