The Women’s Comedy Workshop Showcase
Join us for an evening of brand new comedy performed by participants of The Women’s Comedy Workshop — a project supporting women to perform stand-up for the very first time.
Hosted by Emily Bampton — an alumna of the Workshop who has since been featured on Next Up Comedy, reached the Semi-Final of Cocoa Butter Club’s Trailblazer Competition 2022, won Quantum Leopard Champions of Champions 2023 and been shortlisted for BBC New Comedian in both 2022 and 2024. Daily Info describes her as “a hilariously relatable punch to the gut,” while LMAOnaise says she “always leaves an audience happier than she found them.”
The evening will also include a conversation with Dr Natalie Diddams about her new book, Learning Through Laughter: Affect and Empowerment in Women’s Comedy Workshops (2026).
