Liam Vincent and the Odd Foxes
With a line-up of five established musicians from across the UK’s folk and rock scene, it’s no surprise that this dynamic and experienced band is making a huge impression wherever they play.
R&R Magazine’s Philip Ward gave them the accolade of ‘Best Live Act Event for 2023’, when he saw them at last year’s Cropredy Fringe Festival. Hot Music Live’s review of their recently released debut album Fabric For a Flawed Society said ‘any band who can create this many original songs each of which stimulates the mind, the heart and the feet is thoroughly deserving of success’.
Showing us how to play folk-rock with finesse, The Foxes won a great reception when they played one of our support slots last year and we are very excited to welcome back the full 5-piece line-up as our headline guests for May’s ‘CVFolk 2nd Sunday’ concert. With Coventry duo Julie Neale and Robert Small, plus blues guitarist and songwriter Jamie Scott also appearing, this promises another evening of folk in all its fabulous varieties.
Starting 7.30pm, admission is free with the usual ‘caddy collection’ during the interval.
