Join crime historian Adam Wood to hear true tales from Coventry’s dark past, such as the man kept chained in filthy conditions in one of the city’s best loved pubs, the conspiracy to murder the workhouse doctor by two of the inmates, the man who took revenge on his wife’s refusal to return to the marital home – by cutting off her head – and learn the truth of the story of ‘Duckfat’ Bradshaw, supposedly found by police sitting in the Malt Shovel on Spon End eating a pie following the murder of the landlord.

All companion/carer tickets must be booked through Box Office via phone or in person.

Wheelchair designated spaces are available at the rear of the auditorium and are available by contacting the Box Office. Patrons who wouldn’t be able to attend the theatre without accompaniment are eligible for one free companion ticket, these also can only be booked via Box Office.
