First Draft Festival Day 2
Sunday 22nd June 2025

Join us for a two-day arts festival this June, with something for the whole family!

With workshops and performances by local artists, as well as exhibitions, crafts, food and music, this is the perfect summer day out.

Whether you just want to pop along for one day, or go to the whole weekend, you won’t want to miss out!

The Sunday Line-Up is bursting with fun, have a look below for some of the highlights…

All Day – Arts Exhibition featuring local artists, photobooth, live drawing, drop in crafts room, DJ and pizza

11am -12pm – Performance by our very own Albany Youth Theatre

11am – 12pm – Workshop with dance group, Ascension

12pm – 1pm – A performance by coventry folk collective, CVFolk

12pm – 1pm – Workshop with our own Intergenerational Theatre Group in collaboration with Fyah Kamp and Arawak Community Centre

1pm – 2pm – Performance by Young Carers

1pm – 2pm – Albany Youth Theatre taster session

2pm – 3pm – Performance by Impact Steel Band

2pm – 3pm – Exhibition of art by locally based refugees

2pm – 3pm – Performance by dance group, Ascension Youth

3pm – 4pm – Folk workshop with CVFolk

3pm – 4pm – Performance by Albany Empowers, a group of performers from Hereward College

4pm – 5pm – Steel pans workshop with Impact Steel band

4pm – 5pm – Poetry performance by Fyah Kamp

5pm – 6pm – Poetry workshop with Fyah Kamp

5pm – 6pm – Workshop with dance group, Ascension

6pm – 7pm – Performance of theatre and poetry show ‘Not a Robot’ by Ann Atkins

Age Guidance: All Ages

Running Time: Festival will be on from 11am – 6pm on Saturday

All companion/carer tickets must be booked through Box Office via phone or in person.

The Box Office is open Monday to Saturday from 10:30am to 1:30pm, and an hour before performances start. Outside these opening hours, messages can be left on our voicemail. See our Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales.

Wheelchair designated spaces are available at the rear of the auditorium and are available by contacting the Box Office. Patrons who wouldn’t be able to attend the theatre without accompaniment are eligible for one free companion ticket, these also can only be booked via Box Office. See Accessibility for more information.

Performances with an age guidance of all ages offer Babe in Arms tickets for children aged 0-18 months free of charge and Lap Tickets for children aged 18-36 months for £3.00. These can be booked through our Box Office. We also have Booster Seats available to rent for £1 at the kiosk.
