Folk and acoustic singer and composer, Amber Liadan shapes songs that resonate with the heart and soul.
Now based in Warwickshire, her musical journey has taken her via Dublin, Cape Town, Indonesia and London. Headlining CVFolk’s ‘Second Sunday’ concert for October, she brings her unique blend of passion and artistry with her band Phil Moffett (lead guitar/harmonies), Carol Whitworth (bass/harmonies) and Dave Male (drums) to the stage.
Her acclaimed album Warrior was released in 2017, and last year saw the release of her single In Your Arms which has received BBC airplay. She captured the hearts of the Shipston Proms audience last year when she won the event’s ‘Introducing Competition’ and opened the main stage for the final evening of the festival.
The evening also features performances by two more fabulous home-grown acts – Alys Rain and Nowhere Club.
‘A great talent and a great work ethic.’ Paul Heskett (Keyboards-player with The Specials).
‘Outstanding set of original and engaging songs.’ offtherails_leamington.
And in our opinion, definitely a class act – not to be missed!
The music starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £11, available from the Box Office.
