Here’s another chance to gain and develop your music-making and performance skills under the guidance of leading musicians and performers from the folk circuit.
Saturday morning of 14th September sees a return visit by talented multi-instrumentalist and singer, Lauren South. Known for including some ace fiddle-playing in her live shows, she also has extensive experience as an instrumental tutor. So, if you’re a complete beginner or only have limited experience, why not come along and have a go at the fiddle? And if you attended her first session in March, you’re also most welcome to come back and build on what you’ve achieved so far.
Bring your own violin if you have one, although there will be a small number of instruments available to borrow. The 2-hour workshop starts at 11am and Lauren will get you playing by the end of the session.
Admission £8 (£5 unwaged) – book in advance or bring payment with you, and a fiddle if you have one!
