You’ve heard of throwback Thursday, now it’s time for the ultimate throwback decade – 80’s Live!

Travel back in time to one of the most iconic eras of music for an exciting night out – put your hands together and get into the groove as live band Electric Dreams, perform over two dozen chart topping anthems from artists including Duran Duran, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Culture Club, Kim Wilde, Rick Astley, The Human League, A-Ha, Tears for Fears, Wham and more!

Whether you were born in the 80s, were lucky enough to hear these sounds from your very own cassette player or you’ve had a Stranger Things glimpse of 80s life, once you’ve seen 80s Live, you’ll want to relive it again – and again.

Blending pop and soft rock, the show includes hits such as Living on a PrayerThe Final CountdownDon’t You Want Me Baby, Relax, Never Gonna Give You Up, It’s Raining Men, Rio, Tainted Love and so many more.

Move aside Doc, we don’t need The DeLorean to create our time machine. This is 80’s Live!

The Box Office is open Monday to Saturday from 10:30am to 1:30pm, and an hour before performances start. Outside these opening hours, messages can be left on our voicemail. See our Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales.

Wheelchair designated spaces are available at the rear of the auditorium and are available by contacting the Box Office. Patrons who wouldn’t be able to attend the theatre without accompaniment are eligible for one free companion ticket, these also can only be booked via Box Office. Performances with an age guidance of all ages offer Babe in Arms tickets for children aged 0-18 months free of charge and Lap Tickets for children aged 18-36 months for £3.00. These can be booked through our Box Office.

‘The year is 1544 and King Henry, the Eighth of that name, is engaged upon Royal Progress about his Realm; and has halted here to afford his Loyal Subjects the opportunity to have 'audience' with their Sovereign Lord and King. The King, recently married to his new, and sixth, wife, Queen Catherine Parr, is in poor health; his leg continues to cause him considerable pain and he is often in a poor humour! In the course of the 'audience', His Majesty will recount the events of his long reign; telling of his wives and his children, and His Majesty will invite his Loyal Subjects to Petition him or question him on ANY related subject : there may be some surprising answers - a lively Q&A is assured!’
