No Place Like… Coventry is an exciting event organised by Coventry Music as part of the BBC Music Biggest Weekend Fringe, putting young home-grown talent in the spotlight.
Inspired by Kerry Andrews’ choral work “No Place Like”, the concert will feature a massed schools’ choir, as well as an original piece composed and performed by the young musicians of Coventry Music’s Talent Development Group as a creative response to this piece. The massed choir will also sing Robert Ramskill’s “Made in Coventry” - a song commissioned especially for Coventry school children as part of the Mornings of Music singing festival.
The audience will also be treated to performances by young musicians from the worlds of rock, jazz and classical music.
